HRFR Lead the Huntingdon County convention parade in Cassville PA on the 17th of July 2021. HRFR is happy to have such a group of members to do such a great job.

At 09:28 Truck 65 along with Rescue and Traffic 10 responded to a smoke detector alarm on Warm springs Ave. At 13:50 Rescue 65 was dispatched to assist Company 20 with a MVA in Brady Twp. The rescue was cancelled prior to arrival. In the evening crews cleaned the fair bingo booth in preparation for the fair.

Rescue 65 started the day assisting CO20 Mill Creek with a MVA on William Penn Hwy in Henderson Twp. R65 performed a door pop and assisted with other duties before returning. Later in the morning Rescue 65 and Rescue 20 where out for another MVA this time in the area of Car Care. Chief 65 arrived and scaled the box back to Rescue 65 for debris. At noon Rescue 65 and Rescue 10 on the daylight box handled another MVA this time in Huntingdon Borough. Crews spent the evening practicing ladder skills for weekly in house training.

This evening HRFR sent an engine crew to the 138th Annual Shade Gap Picnic Parade. After hard work and dedication our engine 65-2 took first place for best equipped and maintained engine. We thank Shade Gap Area Volunteer Fire Company for hosting the parade! While the engine was in Shade Gap Rescue 65 assisted Mill Creek with a MVA in Henderson TWP.
