CALL’S THIS WEEK

11/7/19 11:30
Department 65 and Rescue 10 were dispatched to Standing Stone Rd and Murray Run Rd, Oneida Twp for an outside investigation. Captain 65-18 confirmed a control burn and placed the box in service.

11/7/19 1914
Department 65 and Huntingdon EMS were dispatched to Standing Stone Rd and Coldsprings Rd for a MVC with no injuries. Units arrived and set up traffic control. No patients were transported. Units cleared the seen a short time latter.

11/10/19 0045
Department 65 and Rescue 10 were dispatched 12476 Piney Ridge rd for and shed fire. Chief 65 arrived on seen with a 10-10 shed, working fire. Engine 65-1 arrived using there front jump line to extinguish the fire. Units returned a short time latter.

11/10/19 1338
Engine 65-2 was dispatched to 4251 Miller Rd for a Dwelling fire. Engine 65-2 was requested to go to station 19 to standby. Chief 19 held the box to Co.19 and the engine returned to service.

Another steady day for members to start the weekend, at 0826 Dept 65 was dispatched to College Avenue to assist with traffic control due to a disabled tractor trailer. Before responding the caller reported a possible fuel tank leak, EMA was requested due to the potential quantity of fuel leaking. No services were needed but they were there and ready in case something happened.

At 0933 while operating on the traffic control detail Dept 65 was dispatched to the are of Petersburg Pike at Cold Springs Road for a motor vehicle accident with air bay deployment. Rescue 65 arrived and determined there was no injuries and waited for a tow truck.

At 2251 Dept 65 was dispatched to the Bailey Building for a commercial fire alarm, the initial report was a general alarm however the alarm company called back stating multiple activations with smoke detector activations in the attic. Deputy 65 (T. Furlong) went direct followed by Truck 65 with 5, Engine 65-2 with 6, Squad 65 with 3. Deputy 65 arrived with normal exterior conditions and ordered the truck crew to go to the attic with TICs and investigate. The truck crew found normal conditions and no tripped alarms. Remaining units staged while the building was cleared with no findings.
